(Harrisburg, PA) -- Pennsylvania's National Guard is being activated throughout the state to strengthen security. Governor Tom Wolf announced yesterday that he has activated over 450 National Guard members in the state out of precaution because of the U.S. Capitol riots that occurred last week. Some of the members will be joining State and Capitol Police to guard the Capitol Complex in Harrisburg. Over one-thousand members have already been deployed to Washington D.C. to help protect the U.S. Capitol from threats of rioting during Joe Biden's inauguration.
