All the fun, none of the consequences!
The hangover-free synthetic alchohol has been in development since 2005, and originally wasn't expected to hit store until 2050...now it's looking more like 2024.
David Nutt, Imperial College of London's director of neuropsychoparmacology began his project. So far he's been able to patent 90 intoxicating compounds, that avoid the usual hangover side effects (like headaches, nausea...all the FUN stuff). And through a LOT of trial and error, according to an interview Nutt did with The Guardian the synthetic, hangover-free alcohol could be hitting store within FIVE YEARS. Shook.
