Yanise Ho, aka The Bladress, is trying to show the world that people aren't that bad...by roller blading cross country with nothing more than her backpack.
Day 64- May 15,2018 at 4:30pm I crossed the boarder line from NC to Virginia. A new chapter is about to begin!!! Thank you so much North Carlina for the hospitality for the past 14 days! Now I understand why my heart made me turn around to go thru the Carolinas. Wonderful hosts and strangers that have given me blessings that once again proved the awesomeness of people! . The Bladress started her journey in Miami, and has already made it to Virginia (that's 1,243 miles)..in just 67 days! This woman makes me happy to be a woman, happy to have someone crusading for the kindness of humanity. All the while Yanise is raising money for her non-profit, One Girl Can and The Bladress Scholarship, to raise money for girls' education in Kenya and Uganda.
You can follow her journey and donate to ONE GIRL CAN right HERE :)
I love her message, I love her intention...but it still makes me nervous tbh. Am I happy that I'm slightly jaded by the state of the world? No way! But I am. And I'm wishing Yanise Ho the very best and safest journey possible.
You Go Girl!
