Machine Gun Kelly And Travis Barker Drop 'Concert For Aliens'

Machine Gun Kelly's latest song couldn't have come out at a better time, and he knows it. "Since it can’t happen on Earth right now..." he wrote on Instagram while announcing his new pop punk single, "Concert For Aliens," referring of course to the coronavirus pandemic halting live music.

The new track features Travis Barker, who produced MGK's upcoming album Tickets to My Downfall. The duo shared an animated video to accompany the straightforward pop punk track, which sees the rapper and drummer get abducted and quite literally play a concert for aliens.

"so ‘concert for aliens’ was the last song me and @travisbarker recorded for the #TicketsToMyDownfall album," MGK tweeted about the song earlier this week. "i think we made it like 2 weeks ago. clutch." Tickets to My Downfall doesn't have a release date yet, but it appears to be done (or close to it), so we might be getting it sooner rather than later.

"Concert For Aliens" is the second offering off MGK's upcoming pop punk album, following lead single "Bloody Valentine," which was accompanied by a video starring the rapper's new girlfriend actress Megan Fox and scored Barker his first time topping the Hot Rock Producers chart.
