Changes To Harrisburg’s Fourth Of July Fireworks Celebration

(Harrisburg, PA) -- The city of Harrisburg is making some adjustments to its Fourth of July Fireworks celebration. This year’s event is being moved to City Island and will include over a dozen food trucks. It’s reported that those in attendance may take their food home or spread out in the park with their own chairs or blankets. While parking in the city is free, a five-dollar parking fee will be charged to park on the island. The fireworks display is expected to begin around 9:15 p.m.

Fireworks will start at 9:15 p.m. and can be viewed from miles of space along the East and West Shore.
