Infant Formula Sold At Walmart Recalled Because It May Contain Metal

Parent's Choice Advantage Infant Formula Milk-Based Powder with Iron

An infant formula only sold at Walmart has been voluntarily recalled after a consumer reported finding a metal substance in the product. The recall affects a single lot of 35-ounce containers of Parent's Choice Advantage Infant Formula Milk-Based Powder with Iron. Perrigo Company announced that there were 23,388 containers in the affected lot.

Anybody who has purchased the formula should check the bottom of the package for a Lot Code of C26EVFV and a "use by" date of February 26, 2021. Consumers who purchased the impacted containers should stop using the formula and bring it back to Walmart for a full refund.

There have been no reports of injuries or sickness related to the formula, and the recall was made out of an abundance of caution.
